In August, we come to the place which I like to call the winnowing, which according to wikipedia is the natural separation and removal of fine material from coarser material in the fullness of time. During this month we make the best use of our energies by allowing an organic winnowing to occur.
In a 9 year, often the joy is completely obscured by the remnants and heartache of the old cycle. It’s only through the proverbial cracks that we do not lose all hope, for we see our dreams peaking through, a glimpse of brilliance in the breaks and fissures…
The point of this post is that November is beset with the best of intentions, of promises that may go unfulfilled. That’s in large part because of the nature of a Nine Universal year where even actions undertaken with great forthought can be abandoned because you just need a break. Nine says to us “big stuff is going to end. Soonish. You might want to pause and think about that”.
