So this is the part in the story, the tale of the year, that speaks of culmination, of estactic realization. In an eight year, we as itinerant seekers find ourselves at the top of a very specific and particular hill. The journey has not been easy. WE have doubted ourselves many times, but reaching this clear-cut summit is an accomplished task. Huzzah for that.
Still, questions persist…is this the hill of our dreams or nightmares?
A one month in an 8 year is bracing in its demand for an answer…we are now somewhere specific, well-defined. Is this where we want to be?
Most of us are familiar with the notion…the fallacy of sunk costs. After pouring so much time and energy into a thing, we think…i can’t go back now, I’ve invested too much to turn away from this enterprise. But have we?
In regards to your current trajectory…if you are not rejoicing at least 75% of the time…if your choices feel lackluster and flat, chances are, you are, as astrologer Steven Forrest often says “on the wrong mountain”.
Invite and enter into a state of deep catharsis, relax into a hallowed self-revelation.
The silver lining is, undoubtedly, that knowing where you should not be is highly instructive, nay, motivating! Grasp your new knowledge confidently.
- Take decisive steps to correct your trajectory.
- Alternatively if you are on the right journey, with an authentic goal in your sights, hug yourself and continue upward.
One way or another…make space for the ringing bell in your heart and soul.
